Every specialty below is offered two ways: as licensed counseling (Colorado only) or as coaching (available anywhere in the US). Every client starts with a free consult, so we can figure out together which fits — and which of these three doors makes the most sense to start with.
Offered as counseling (Colorado) or coaching (nationwide)
For the racing mind, the sleepless nights, the constant bracing for the next thing to go wrong. We work on two tracks at once: practical tools you can use the same week (grounding, thought work, nervous-system regulation), and the deeper pattern underneath — the belief, the old fear, the part of you that learned anxiety was useful once.
Clients often work alongside structured tools like my Anxiety Toolbox worksheets — cognitive distortion breakdowns, alternative-response exercises, and coping-strategy trackers — so the work doesn't stay confined to the session.

Trauma isn't just what happened — it's what your body decided to do about it. Sessions here move at a pace your nervous system can actually integrate, combining somatic awareness, parts work (IFS), and attachment-informed care so old survival strategies can finally stand down.
This isn't work that requires you to retell the worst day of your life in detail before you're ready. We build safety and capacity first — always.

This is individual counseling or coaching — but the lens is relational: how you attach, how you communicate, what you tolerate, what you avoid, and where those patterns actually came from. Many clients use exercises adapted from my Partnership Demystified workbook — relationship history mapping, values work, and requirements-vs-needs exercises — to bring real clarity to patterns that have felt foggy for years.
Whether you're single and tired of repeating the same dynamic, newly partnered and want to do it differently this time, or long-term and quietly disconnected, this work is about becoming someone who relates differently — not just finding a different person to relate to.
Free 15-minute consult — a quick call to talk about what's going on and answer any questions, no pressure either way.
50-minute sessions, typically weekly to start — counseling clients meet in person in the Denver area or via telehealth anywhere in Colorado; coaching clients meet via telehealth from anywhere in the US.
Between-session tools — worksheets, trackers, or practices when they're useful, never as busywork.
Sessions are $175/hour. I don't accept insurance directly, but I'm happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. FSA and HSA cards are accepted.
You don't need to know before we talk — most people's concerns overlap across anxiety, trauma, and relationships anyway. The free consult is exactly for figuring that out together.
Counseling is licensed clinical treatment — it can involve diagnosis and is billable to insurance in some cases, but Colorado licensure means it's only available to people located in Colorado. Coaching uses the same clinical background and tools but isn't psychotherapy, isn't used to diagnose or treat a mental health condition, and isn't bound by state licensure — so it's available to clients anywhere in the US.
Yes. Counseling telehealth is available anywhere in Colorado, since that's what licensure allows. Coaching telehealth is available anywhere in the US.
True healing isn't a quick fix — the fast stuff tends to be a bandaid. Most clients start weekly and taper as things shift, but honestly, the biggest factor isn't the session cadence — it's how much energy and effort goes in outside our time together. The more work happens between sessions, the shorter the overall healing arc tends to be.
That's one of the most common reasons people reach out. If talk therapy alone hasn't moved the needle, the somatic and parts-based work here is often the missing piece — whether we end up working together in counseling or coaching.
Yes, through coaching. It's not a substitute for therapy if you need clinical treatment, but for many people it's a real and accessible way to do this work without being limited by geography.
